   Detroit Edison Public School Academy Early College of Excellence earned its third straight boys basketball win, beating Charter School Conference East Division foe Arts & Technology Academy of Pontiac 65-24 on Tuesday, Jan. 11, at Edison.

   Edison improved to a deceiving 3-3 overall and 3-0 in league play. Its three close losses have come against powerhouses (North Farmington, Detroit Cass Technical, and Davison). Edison was coming off an impressive win over formerly undefeated Harper Woods Chandler Park 66-60 on Jan. 7.

   Byrce Eaton led the Pioneers with 15 points. Kyle Millender and Jailen Tiggs both scored 12 points. Jordan Anderson added 10 points.

   Edison hosts Warren Michigan Collegiate (7-0/3-0) on Friday, Jan. 14. Collegiate beat Mt. Clemens 72-12 on Tuesday.
