Boys basketball: Royal Oak Shrine Catholic holds off Bloomfield Hills Cranbrook Kingswood 47-45 on Wednesday, Jan. 16. 2019

 

  Royal Oak Shrine Catholic held off Catholic High School League Intersectional 1 Division rival Bloomfield Hills Cranbrook Kingswood 47-45 in boys basketball action on Wednesday, Jan. 16, at Shrine.

   Shrine improved to 9-2 overall and 6-0 in league play. Cranbrook fell to 9-4/4-3.

   The game was tied 33-33 after three quarters.

   A.J. Massucci led Shrine with 22 points. Owen Groth scored 13 points in the victory.

   Shrine travels to Marine City Cardinal Mooney on Friday, Jan. 18.
