    Birmingham Roeper raced out to a 20-8 lead after one quarter and cruised to a 61-39 boys basketball win over Ann Arbor Rudolf Steiner on Friday, Dec. 17, at the Roeper Community Center in Bloomfield Hills.

 

 

 

   Roeper heads into the holiday break with a 2-2 record. Roeper will

travel to Ann Arbor Central Academy (3-1) on Jan. 4 before beginning its Michigan Independent Athletic Conference Red Division schedule against Rochester Hills Lutheran Northwest on Jan. 7.

   In Friday’s opening girls basketball game, Roeper beat Rudolf Steiner, 41-8, to improve to 2-1 on the season. Senior Sofia Salinas scored 15 points in the win.
