   Detroit Edison Public School Academy held off Detroit Catholic Central 61-51 in a battle of boys basketball powers on Tuesday, Feb. 16, at Edison.

   Edison improved to 3-0 on the season with the victory. Edison beat Mt.

Clemens 69-27 on Feb. 10 and pounded Detroit Cornerstone Health & Technology 99-55 on Feb. 12.

 

 

 

 

   Edison hosts Southfield Bradford Academy (0-1) today, Feb. 17.

   Edison was ranked No. 8 in Division 3 at the end of the 2019-20 regular season and advanced to the Michigan High School Athletic Association District 90 championship game against Detroit Cristo Rey on March 13 before the season was canceled due to the pandemic.

   The Pioneers won the MHSSA Class C championship in 2018.
