Detroit Mumford downed Detroit Public School League foe Detroit Collegiate Preparatory at Northwestern 70-16 in boys basketball action on Tuesday, Feb. 23, at Mumford.
Mumford raced to a 48-8 lead at halftime and the second half was played under a running clock.
Senior Devon Howard had 18 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Mustangs. Senior Jonathan Hall and senior Andre Hope both scored 17 for Mumford.
The Mustangs improved to 2-1 on the delayed season with the victory.
Mumford travels to Detroit Cody on Friday, Feb. 26.
